San Diego for Anniversary

We took a weekend trip to San Diego to celebrate our one year anniversary! We had a fabulous time. We went hiking in Torrey Pines and Cabrillo Point, ate dinner in the Gaslamp district and walked around La Jolla, downtown, Balboa Park and Coronado Island.

Alaska Cruise

Alaska was the most beautiful place we've ever seen. We left from Seattle on a seven day Princess cruise and went to Ketchikan, Skagway, Juneau, Tracy's Arm, the Inside Passage, and Victoria. We had the perfect weather and we couldn't peel our eyes away from the gorgeous scenery as our ship went along the most beautiful snow capped mountain ranges and glaciers. We saw two black bears, a few seals sunning on the icebergs, and a ton of Bald Eagles and humpback whales. We ate until our guts were going to explode every meal on the ship. We had an awesome dinner at the Twisted Fish restaurant in Juneau - buffalo burger and fish n chips. In Skagway we took a train ride up the mountain along the pathway the gold miners used. In Ketchikan we did the zipline through the rainforest, which was terrific. The cruise went by so fast. We decided Alaska is a place we want to visit again - we only got a glimpse of the beauty.
