Our last day we drove to Big Basin State Park and hiked an 11 mile loop through the most beautiful redwood forest to Berry Creek falls and Silver falls. Scott is in way better shape than me, because I was dying the last 3 miles or so...my calves were so sore from all the other hikes and didn't like going uphill anymore. Scott felt like a champ the entire trip...I guess all his trips to the gym paid off. I'll add that to my New Year's goals.
